Future Transfer provides flexible manufacturing and packaging services for solid and liquid products, including chemical formulation, blending, granular coating and impregnation, co-packing, filling, capping, labelling, check weighing, robotic case packing and robotic palletizing. The company operates more than 25 mixing vessels and over 20 packaging lines, allowing programs to be tailored around different products, volumes and packaging requirements.

Future Transfer has experience with a range of agricultural, industrial and specialty chemical products, including liquid and solid pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, adjuvants, fertilizers, seed treatments, lawn and garden products, deicing products and hazardous chemical commodities. Specific capabilities vary by facility and product requirements.

Yes. Future Transfer can provide manufacturing infrastructure, equipment and operational capabilities for customers that want to outsource formulation, blending, packaging or related production requirements. These services can also be integrated with warehousing, distribution and logistics to create a more complete supply chain solution. The project's broader positioning specifically emphasizes manufacturing and packaging as a core business vertical rather than simply a supporting logistics service.

Future Transfer supports both liquid and solid packaging across a broad range of formats. Current capabilities include liquids from approximately 100 mL through bulk formats and solids from approximately 5 kg to 1,200 kg, along with bottles, pails, drums, totes and bags at individual facilities. Packaging capabilities also include co-packing, capping, labelling, check weighing and automated case packing and palletizing.

Yes. Temperature-controlled storage is available as part of Future Transfer's expanded warehousing capabilities. Storage programs can be combined with inventory management, receiving, order preparation, distribution and transportation services based on the customer's requirements.

Yes. Future Transfer has experience handling, storing, transloading and transporting hazardous liquid and solid chemicals and other regulated commodities. Capabilities include specialized chemical handling equipment, tankers, bulk storage, rail transloading and Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) services.

Future Transfer uses a barcoded Warehouse Management System (WMS) to manage receiving, storage, lot tracking and outbound inventory. The company currently reports better than 99% inventory accuracy and can provide customized reporting, lot control and inventory counts on annual, bi-annual, monthly or cycle-count schedules.

Yes. Future Transfer supports EDI and API connectivity and can operate customer ERP and inventory management systems as part of an integrated warehousing program. Its transportation operations also use a Transportation Management System that can connect through EDI.

Yes. Future Transfer provides specialized rail transloading services with more than 80 railcar positions, Trackmobile equipment, bulk storage, railcar tracking and specialized transloading equipment. The company has experience transloading hazardous liquid and solid chemicals, soils, minerals and gases, along with capabilities such as steaming and hot-water heating.

Yes. Future Transfer combines an owned dedicated fleet with in-house 3PL and brokered freight services. The dedicated fleet includes modern trucks, dry vans and tankers, while brokered services provide broader coverage across Canada and the United States for LTL, FTL, JIT, expedited, air freight, TDG, over-dimensional and other transportation requirements.

Yes. This is a central part of Future Transfer's approach. Manufacturing, packaging, warehousing, distribution, transloading and transportation can be used individually or brought together into a tailored supply chain solution based on the customer's specific product and operational requirements. Jerome identified “tailored” as an especially important word in describing how Future Transfer works with customers.

Future Transfer currently lists facilities across Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta, including operations in Tillsonburg, Aylmer, Winnipeg, Elie, Saskatoon, Regina and Airdrie. Individual locations offer different combinations of warehousing, manufacturing, formulation, packaging and specialized capabilities.

The precise total facility count should remain flexible in the website copy until confirmed. Jerome indicated in the project discussions that the network may now be closer to 15 or 16 sites, rather than the older 14-location figure, and said he would verify the number.
